Asbestos Awareness

Description
Asbestos is a mineral fiber that was previously used in building materials and other products. Asbestos exposure can increase a person’s likelihood of developing lung disease and other negative health effects. Although asbestos-containing products are no longer on the market, the material still exists in many buildings. As a result, workers in construction, building maintenance, and related industries may require asbestos awareness certifications.
